Jim Carroll, recently won "The River" at the Winstar casino. He cashed an amazing $700,000.00. When you watch the televised final table unfold, you may notice that he spent a lot of time cutting up and entertaining. Jim was given the name, "Sticker Man" because his friends, David Bishop and Glenn Miller, kept putting white duct tape on his hat with amusing comments. Jim made sure the final table interesting for viewers by providing plenty of laughs and sound bites for the producers.
Jim trained under Dr. Phil at Pathways seminars in the 80's. He is currently conducting life enrichment seminars that are "In your face" life changing events.

Dr. Phil's counseling style and the experience Jim gained directing seminars have taught him how to see through people. Jim uses that ability to read poker players. In the seminars it is his job to watch body languages, fluctuations in voices, reaction times, shifting of the eyes, minor changes in facial expressions and other variables to determine the real truth. It is a big advantage when playing cards.
Jim also concentrates on giving off false signs. Jim gives off signals to make the other players think that he is weak or strong depending on the situation. When Jim is weak, he may give off three signals that indicate that he's strong without saying a thing. Most people would never consciously notice, but their subconscious mind picks them up.
Jim hosted the TLC/Discovery Network series, "Marriage Camp." This TV series aired in 2007 and was six episode series. It was originally aired on the TLC network and then the reruns were on the Discovery Health Network. The time that Jim spent with the cameras and microphones allows him to be at ease around camera crews. When you watch The River, you will notice that he was never nervous and spent much of his time playfully engaging other players.
Jim has had three published books.

The third book, Hollywood Dating Blunders, was published by Skyward. It is a book that presents a healthy approach to dating.

Since 1980 Jim has owned and operated several security guard companies throughout Texas. His companies have a great reputation in the industry. They employ more than 600 security officers.
Jim also owns an employee scheduling software company. This software allows employees to view their work schedules online.
At the tables, Jim jokes that he is a singing strip-o-gram, a professional cage fighter and hit man. The truth is that Jim was a private investigator fresh out of college and work for the infamous William C. Dear Agency. To subsides his income, Jim also worked as a bounty hunter in the early 80's. Those days are long gone, but one interesting fact remains. Jim really is a licensed minister. Jim has taught singles groups and seminars across the country. He is a generous kind hearted guy that takes the time to help other poker players work through issues of addiction, family priorities and self-value.
Jim is more than just a poker player. He is a marketing wizard. Jim has produced some marketing concepts that have been purchased by national corporations. One concept was so successful that earned a windfall of profit as the companies sales soared. There is not doubt that Jim would be a great ambassador for the Winstar.
I would suggest that you sponsor Jim in every major televised tournament leading up to the River in 2009. Jim will be an asset promoting the Winstar throughout the tournaments even if he doesn’t reach the final table. If Jim can get on one final table wearing the Winstar apparel, his lucky stickers and the River bracelet, it will be a major score for Chickasaw.
